Seems to be a contradiction here about mint jelly.

f) states “Many ant species dislike mint and will crawl away”

g) states “The mint jelly attracts the ants”

Your cream of wheat remedie is wrong you wrote use cooked.

It is actually Un-Cooked Cream of Wheat that expands and kills the ants. If you cook it first it’s already expanded and will only feed your problem..

Controlling ants can be done with Cream of Wheat, however you must NOT cook the cereal first, as it’s the digestion of the uncooked cereal that actually kills them. ]]>

Found a lot of ant eggs in the floor where our radiator pipe goes into the floor. Disturbed them a bit (and the twenty-ish ants that were crawling about) but when I came back to scoop them all out, the ants appeared to have carried them all away. Pretty impressive. Poured boiling water down the hole and filled it with black pepper, following the advice above. Thanks ]]>
